LIFT is a remembrance event held for families whose child has died of cancer or a blood disorder. This event is held off-site to honor and remember, and to provide support to grieving families. Grief counseling, funeral assistance and grief support are also available to the immediate family. A monthly support group is held at Children’s Cancer Center on the first Tuesday of every month facilitated by a grief specialist, Janice Paton, for parents of children who have passed away from pediatric cancer.
