A monthly support group is held at Children’s Cancer Center on the first Tuesday of every month facilitated by a grief specialist, Janice Paton, for parents of children who have passed away from pediatric cancer. Grief counseling, funeral assistance and grief support group are also available to the immediate family. In addition to regularly held support options, LIFT is a remembrance event held for families whose child has died of cancer or a blood disorder. This event is held off-site to honor and remember, and to provide support to grieving families.
